GRaPA Phase 3 Announcement – March 2024

Energy Transition Norway and the GRaPA project is pleased to announce that we have confirmed support for our continued work during 2024 to deliver radical improvement in P&A operational performance. GRaPA would like to thank Equinor and Total Energies for their continued confidence in the GRaPA project.

The project scope for 2024 has been focussed down on identifying and delivering the necessary downhole technical solutions to enable rig-less P&A operations. In addition, the delivery of the necessary process to allow radical P&A well design, through well specific risk assessment will be prioritized during 2024.

GRaPA looks forward to engaging with operators, technology providers and authority organizations, both within Norway and globally, during 2024. More information around actual project activity over the coming months will be communicated soon.
